Lawrence Wright was born on 2 August 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for The Looming Tower (2018), The Siege (1998) and Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief (2015). He has been married to Roberta Murphy since 22 January 1970. They have two children.
