Summary Muscat 5pm tells three stories of three individuals in Muscat, Oman at 5pm. The film depicts four necessities that one needs in life to be happy---Love, Health, Money and Creative Satisfaction. However not all of us are blessed with all the four in one single life; hence we are left incomplete, craving, desperate, angry and sad. The three stories---PlayStation, Sans taste and Taekwondo Lessons deals with the lives of labourer Narayan, travel consultant Nizar and accountant Noura respectively. While Narayan has love, he lacks money to make his loved one happy. Nizar is rich but he can't enjoy the money because he suffers from severe diabetics.
