Summary Nayana gets orphaned in America after her parents are murdered in a race-hate crime. Her late NRI parents previously eloped against the wishes of their parents, and now twelve year old Nayana is sent to their home, specifically to her maternal grandparents. When she is escorted to their place by her late father's friend, they discover the grandparents are no more too. Her aunt, Vydehi is continuing their father's legacy of teaching classical dance with an aim to have the students perform on international stages. Nayana meets her aunt, Vydehi and her cousin Mythili. While her aunt seems to harbour some animosity toward her, Mythili and another friend, Sameer form her support system. With the backdrop of classical dance and lilting music, the story unveils delicate emotions and the complexity of human relationships. As the story unfolds, we discover why Vydehi is hostile toward her late sister's daughter and how Nayana wins her over.
