Film and form take shape in the universal mind. this is a 35mm experimental animation film, more about paint and the lyrical expression thereof - made to make you feel the violin accompaniment by Xi Wei through the density and movement of paint and sometimes through editing. The characters depicted are painted and movements and expressions are through paint rather than acting although the film maker has painstakingly studied Meisner school of acting, "Tekisui" can lead you through an array of emotions without an actor even raising an eyebrow or shedding a tear. Although sometimes art can be viewed from the perspective of pretension, "Tekisui" was made from 35mm short ends left behind by a film crew, the film maker Toly AK then stripped the emulsion off the negative with bio-degradable soaps and recycled and antiqued the film stock to its state of expression by hand painting - frame by frame directly on the celluloid with manual labor then transferred the film, by this time running out of money, directly from a Steenbeck's screen- with new camera's the white balance is better and you get a better projection. Toly AK then added a score by then street performer Xi Wei and began editing. a process which took years. Art in and of itself can seen as pretentious when, like the definition says, done for money- "Tekisui" is an art-house film which rarely ever is even seen let along make a dime back. "Tekisui" is more about meditation and searching for peace in your self and being at one with those around you and the universe.

Comedy puppet-animation about the NHS, family, and dementia. Dr Hairy, a typical NHS doctor, is reported by one of his patients to the QCQ (the Quality Certification Quango), who then schedule his surgery for an inspection. In the meantime his elderly mother is starting to behave very strangely. She says there's a yellow man from outer space in her house, and somebody's moving all her furniture around. When Dr Hairy has his inspection he loses his temper and says 'Bollocks' to the QCQ, which gets him into trouble with the Health Consortium. Things get more and more complicated until eventually Dr Hairy is attacked by his mother's hairclips, meets the yellow man from outer space, and gets a disciplinary visit from the Consortium, in the shape of the vengeful Dr Stead. The Dr Hairy adventures have been compared to Team America, Oliver Postgate, the Goons and Samuel Beckett. This is their first feature-length (90 minutes) outing.
