Serizawa Naoto gets another tarot card and Naruse Ryo goes to see his "blind sister" where she asks him questions about past times when they had watermelon and Sakita Shiori sees more premonitions of whats about to happen. Soda Mitsuru puts the pieces together and finds out that Kasai Hitoshi has been having an affair with Serizawa Naoto's brothers wife and prepares to blackmail him. Naoto's father is jogging and annoyed by the reporter trying to dig up dirt to damage his reputation for the cover up of the murder Serizawa committed long ago. Naruse finds Sora injured from being bullied at school and cannot help but fell sorry for her as tears fall onto his hands meanwhile the Detectives find clues about the anagrams they were sent and start to decode them leading them to Manaka Tomoo who was supposedly killed by metal frames ten years ago. Naoto's father prepares to send a hit man to kill the reporter, Sakita Shiori confesses that she was there 11 years ago when Naoto committed the murder. Naoto starts to have move flashbacks of the murder and is told by his father to stop his investigation and resign but Naoto realizes that his father is only worried about his reputation and defies his father's wishes leading him to a bar where Naruse finds him and is told by Naoto that he will not give up until he sees the masterminds face. At Naruse's workplace he is confronted by the reporter and told that he knows his secret.

Naruse meets Ikehata the reporter on the roof and he tries to blackmail him for 50 million yen, Shiori's friend warns her to stop interfering in the murder case in case she faints again. Naruse plays the blackmail tape given to him by the reporter and is angered by bit as it reveals his secret past, he later gives Serizawa Naoto another tarot card with a picture of his father attached inside. Shiori gets another afterimage about Serizawa's incident and see's Ikehata's name on an envelope which means he may be the next victim so he tries to warn him but is pushed aside by the reporter. Naruse meets with Serizawa's father about the murders and Serizawa confronts his father about hiring a hit man to kill Ikehata and meets Naruse in the lobby and the two take a walk to discuss the situation. Naoto vows to arrest his dad meanwhile his father is preparing the hit man to do his mission. Naruse Ryo's sister gets a visit from the reporter and starts to interview her about Ryo, he threatens Ryo that he will reveal his true identity. Soda Mitsuru gets an envelope with pictures of Mari and Noriyoshi (Naoto's brother and his wife), the reporter gets a red envelope from Naruse and threatens to expose everything but is attacked by Serizawa family hit men. Naruse feelings for Shiori grow but he declares he has no right to love anyone leaving Shiori saddened. The reporter calls Naoto to save him in exchange for information on the real killer but is killed in an "accident" when being chased by the hit men.

After the death of the reporter new details of the murders will be revealed, identities will be unraveled and those close to Nato are being hurt one by one.

Hearts will be broken, friends will be broken, more letters will be delivered and the truth will finally be revealed.

Friends will die, the mystery will be revealed and families will be torn apart.
