To be with Swapnali, to get married to her and to live with her forever, he shares only the half-truth about his job, he tells her about him working in the Malaria surveillance department but hides what his job demands out of him. Post marriage when he tried to get near her, he had a delusion, that, he had a rat in his hand. And he ran far away from her.
