Mama Runs Wild

Benedict missed Mother's funeral. He was stuck in the Eurostar. In the offbeat as always, and a little pitiful, he joined the family home to find his brother, his two sisters - and in a merry bazaar, many memories. There, in the remnants of his childhood, in the intimacy of his room, he sees her - She is waiting for him. And she will not let go.

Seventy-five year-old Harry, recently released from a prison term in Germany, travels to Nova Scotia where he and his wife owned a small island. On arrival he finds that the Island is now occupied by an eccentric woman, sixty-five year-old Susan, who is fleeing from a nursing home confinement. Both seek solitude and space and find a way to survive a series of adventures that help them both forge a new friendship.

Thirteen-year-old Marcel is the son of a married couple of Italian origin. Aldo, his father runs a café very popular with soccer fans. Paola, Marcel's mother, has a taste for wild flowers, for walks and for Marcel Proust. In his turn, Marcel discovers his mum's favorite writer, which does not please his father too much as he would indeed rather have him passionate about soccer. Paola falls seriously ill and to give her courage, Aldo, with the complicity of his father, has the idea to invite actor Pierre Arditi to come to their home and read pages by Proust specially for her...

Mayhem Behind Movies is a fly on the wall mockumentary following Kevin Knight, a struggling low-budget filmmaker, on his mission to complete his first big-break movie Valentine before the opening premiere. Kevin soon finds himself in turmoil as he races against the clock in a make or break scenario packed with side-splitting and nail-biting moments. Will Kevin finish in enough time with all the odds stacked up against him?

Giulio, a divorced middle-aged man, returns to the family villa in Tuscany where he spent his childhood holidays with his entire family, to arrange, with his brothers and cousins, for its sale. The house brings back memories of his youth and of the beautiful Anna, whom all her brothers pursued--but he was the one who ultimately won her over. Overcome with emotions, and now aware of the significance of the property, Giulio decides to buy all his relatives' shares and move back to the villa with his family.
