A touching story of a simple man caught up in the terror of 1971 Bangladesh.
In the last few moments of his life, a former soldier realizes the mistakes of his past. An epiphany comes to him and he tries to break the chain of hatred before it touches his children.
Alberto is born in wartime, where his father dies a hero. He grows up effeminate. His mother sends him to military college where Fernando bullies him, but they become friends. When war comes, he has to face his fears.
