Lucrecia is murdered in the ruins of the Four Roses nightclub in Madrid on November thirteenth, 1992. The Dominican community denounces it as the chronicle of a foretold death. What started as a neighbourhood frictions between Dominican immigrants and local residents ends up mobilizing far-right groups. Weeks before the crime, they plaster the city with posters: "Stop Immigration. Spaniards first!"

The bullet casings found at the crime scene are the key clue that could lead to the perpetrators. Doubts arise about whether the murder was committed by radical far-right youths or if it is a settling of scores among Dominicans, until an internal report from the Civil Guard takes the investigation in a new direction. Meanwhile, the country reacts to the crime with the biggest anti-racism demonstrations in the history of Spain.

Two years after the murder, the trial takes place amid enormous media attention. The pressures the four defendants receive during their time in prison in the build-up to the trial will have a fundamental, unforeseen impact on its outcome.
