Losing Jerry

Boishaki Gan is a Bangladeshi film inspired by the novel, 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens. Bohkil Ali, a greedy, garment factory owner, hates Bengali New Years. On the eve of this special day, he is visited by his dead business partner Bakka Mia, who informs him that in order to avoid eternal damnation he must accompany three messengers, the past, present and future, to show him the meaning of New Years.

This is the story of a struggling women whose husband is an addict, daughter becomes widow after a few days, and with a widowed sister-in-law.

Koen (11) is secretly in love with Annemieke, the most gorgeous girl in the whole world. He tries to please her with treasures he digs up from the soil of the Dutch polder. But Annemieke doesn't really appreciate his presents, which include the skulls of little animals. When Koen finds an old bomb, he is sure he'll be able to conquer Annemieke's heart at last. He takes the bomb with him to school, resulting in an extremely explosive situation.
