Poul and his wife are at a parent-teacher meeting. Things are being turned upside down when Poul gets a splinter in his finger. The incident sets off an avalanche of emotions, apparently well meant advice and compassionate empathy. Human nature is unveiled in Andersen's episodic and modernist comedy written for TV.
