Summary A strange group of people lives in an old house slated for demolition. One of them is a sweet provincial girl named Masha who failed her university exams and doesn't want to go home to her parents. Masha works as a street cleaner, which gives her the legal right to remain in Moscow. The rest of the group are also non-locals and a very eclectic bunch.
