Blank Verse is a web series about William Shakespeare and the great writers of his time, re-imagined as modern day university students. Featuring famous names like Chris Marlowe, Ben Jonson and Thomas Kyd, the series takes the historical events and context in which Shakespeare produced his famous works and throws them into the contemporary world. What would it be like if Shakespeare had not existed until now? How do we define greatness in our modern culture? Who is William Shakespeare?

A drama series about the conflict between past and future, tradition and progress, self-fulfillment and family values. In a Bukharan community we see the struggles between the older generation that wants a traditional life in Bukhara, Uzbekistan and the new generation that wants to build a new life in a new country. The series takes place precisely at the crisis point between the old generation and ancient traditions and the new generation and the 21st century. The series includes biographical elements of the two lead actors--the grandmother in the series is played by their actual grandmother.

The story follows a young woman named Kano Jun, who was raised in Miyakojima, Okinawa. She begins working at a top-tier hotel in Osaka. There, she meets a man named Machida Itoshi ("Itoshi" is written with the same kanji as "ai"), whose brother has passed away. Although the two are very different, they fall in love.
