From 1896 to 1918, from London to Ekaterinenburg, via Copenhagen, Vienna, Berlin, Sarajevo and Verdun, Frédéric Mitterrand recounts, between a serial novel and a history lesson, the last years of the domination in Europe of the centuries-old dynasties Romanov, Habsburg, Hohenzollern, of which "The Eagles" were the emblems. For more than 9 hours, he immerses us in the private life of Tsar Nicholas II, Kaiser Wilhelm II, Emperor Franz Joseph, to make us experience alongside them the upheavals of Europe at the beginning of the century.
