Summary Reading Irvin stone's 'Lust for life' on celebrated painter Vincent Van Gogh and listening to Don McLean's song 'Starry Starry Night' made a deep impression on me. In many ways there are many parallels between Vincent Van Gogh and Jangarh Singh Shyam. Both were genius artists -who were ahead of their times and remained largelyunknown during their lifetimes. Both suffered mental agony and torment .
