Pursuing a life-long dream, wheelchair bound David Mensch and his son Zach set out to ride over 300 miles to Sacramento from Bakersfield, CA to talk to Gov. Jerry Brown about restoring funding for people with disabilities, make a statement about the value of technology for people with disabilities, and set a world record. Most of the time you hear about a father, or an uncle, taking their disabled son on a trip of a lifetime. David Mensch has cerebral palsy. Come along on this one-of-a-kind, father-son journey led by David's 'very-able' 15-year-old son Zach.

Meanwhile there daughter turns out to be a wonderful blessing, until Ann Marie decides to follow her dream and pursue college without her family in Chicago, which is a long ways away from Portland Oregon. How will Daryl handle the pressure of her leaving?

A touching look into the lives of people who are learning new ways to help themselves at Circulo de Amigas, a tiny non-profit in Jinotega, Nicaragua. The film is about the cast and crew of local citizens who make a film showing the barrio how to battle the hunger and poverty left by decades of civil war.

Story Swap brought together high school students from New Orleans and Haiti as partners to share an important story from their lives that has transformed or changed them. Each pair shared their stories via video conference and most of them spoke about their experiences with Hurricane Katrina and the Haiti Earthquake. The students were then asked to rewrite their partner's story and create an art piece that reflected the story they had heard. By receiving the story of another, making it their own and, then exchanging the recreated stories and visual art piece, participants experienced the transformative process of walking in another's shoes and sharing the view they saw from another's eyes. The documentary provides an inspirational overview of the Story Swap experience.
