Public Prosecutor Selim Kara receives an unexpected offer from the organized gang leader Selçuk Taskin, whom he arrested eight years ago. Selçuk Taskin will testify in return for protecting his son Akgün Gökalp Taskin. Akgün Gökalp, a mad cartridge, walking in his father's footsteps, involved with people with whom should not be involved, his life is in danger. Selim lives alone in Istanbul, separate from his family due to his profession. His wife Canan, daughter Yagmur and son Altay, on the other hand, have established a life separate from their father in Izmir, Çesme for four years. Selim takes Selçuk Taskin's son under his protection by using some force, but due to family problems, he has to return to Çesme and his family with this troubled young man. Selim has to save his marriage at all costs. Akgün Gökalp has no intention of saying 'thank you' to this compulsory companionship. Things will get complicated when he learns that Selim Kara is the prosecutor who arrested his father years ago.

Selim and Akgün moved to the Justice Site, opposite Canan's house. Only Altay from the Kara family welcomes Selim's surprise, while Canan and Yagmur feel deceived. Canan is very angry with Selim because she realizes that Selim does not respect her decisions at all and she can no longer contain her anger. She tells Selim that she will not play games for him and that she will not lie for him. On the first day of their family gathering, the children will learn that they will divorce. Selim realizes that it will not be easy to convince Canan this time. He asks the happiest couple he knows, Emel and Metin, to help him. While looking for a way out, Akgün confronts a familiar face from Istanbul as an opportunity to solve all his problems. However, things get out of control and this opportunity turns into trouble that will get Akgün and Yagmur into trouble, although he never wanted to.

While Akgün tries to escape to Chios Island (Sakiz Adasi) with Yagmur's help, a surprise awaits them in the middle of the sea. When Selim learns that Akgün made a plan with Yagmur and put her in danger, he decides to keep Akgün away from his family. They set out for Istanbul. Facing his father in Istanbul, Akgün finds a chance to settle accounts with him. Selim, on the other hand, learns the real reason behind Selçuk Taskin's entrusting Akgün to him. Meanwhile, Altay, who learns that his family is going to get a divorce, causes Selim to question the decisions he made by exhibiting an unexpected behavior.

Halil Sadi asks Akgün to find where is Selim's witness Latif Coskun. In return, he promises to help him go abroad. Yagmur is upset after her break up with Kaan. Kaan is also depressed. This break-up will bring the two mothers face to face. Meanwhile, Metin realizes that Serap is acting strange towards him and tries to find out why. Selim, on the other hand, cannot digest Fatih's being very intertwined with his family in his absence. On top of that, when he hears about Fatih's job offer to Canan, he gets mad and presses him to withdraw the offer with a visit to Fatih's office. But Selim, regretting what he did when he saw how enthusiastic Canan was about returning to work, and he makes a move for Canan. Seeing Selim's efforts for his loved ones, Akgün is very impressed. He is now at a crossroad where he will have to decide between betraying Selim and not.

Akgün sees the photograph of Selim and his mother. When he asks Selim if he knows his mother and Selim denies it, this destroys Akgün's world. While Akgün's anger is searching for a place to explode, Yagmur realizes Akgün's sudden change and wants to know what happened. The fact that Yagmur pushes Akgün's boundaries will carry the relationship between the two to another level. Selim is about to fix his relationship with both his children and Canan. He is now closer than ever to regain his family. Meanwhile, Fatih tells Yagmur that Selim is threatening him, and Yagmur gives her father a chance, to tell the truth to her mother. Selim cannot afford to lose Canan again. Meanwhile, the truth that emerges will turn everything upside down.

Canan, who has learned Akgün's true identity, is very angry with Selim. She demands Selim and Akgün to leave and until they do she settles in Emel with the children. Now Selim has to deal with the fact that Canan has taken the step for divorce once again, while at the same time he is completely stressed out that the operation he was involved in was a total failure. In order to turn the operation around, Selim decides to go over the drug lord that he missed on the first attempt, he also asks Akgün for his help. As for Akgün, he is still being pressured by Soner to learn Latif's location, in addition to somehow prevent Selim for discovering what has happened. Yagmur still cannot get out of her head the fact that Akgün tried to kiss her, so she tries with all her might to keep her distance from him. However Altay is having a bad reaction with his mother's decision, so he disappears thus bringing her and Akgün back together again.

While Akgün, who is pressured to kill Latif, is looking for a way out of getting blood on his hand, Soner threatens Akgün with Yagmur. Selim is looking for the fugitive witness Latif everywhere. Akgün must find a way out from this dead-end situation. Unable to withstand the pressure he was under, Akgün takes his anger out at Selim, who had previously lied to him about his mother. When Akgün learns what has happened between them, he is caught off-guard. Meanwhile, Canan and Selim, who are suffering from the pain of divorce, continue to pretend that everything is fine and trying to stand firm. When Canan helps Selim with his fugitive witness Latif, will that be enough to help with their personal situation?

Canan, who held herself responsible for the death of Selim's witness, still cannot get over what she witnessed. Although Selim tried to comfort Canan, he was also deeply affected by this incident. While Akgün is worried about Yagmur, he receives the news of his father's death and goes to Istanbul with Selim to attend the funeral. Although Akgün said he would not forgive his father, his death affects him deeply. However, this sadness will be replaced by a surprise. Selim learns that Akgün, who turned himself to him, actually took such a road to save himself. Akgün has been acquitted. And now a new life begins for him. He promises Selim and Selçuk Taskin that he will not get involved in dirty work and decides to revive the space he shares with Soner and Eray. He contacts a surprise artist he knows from Istanbul and convinces him to give a concert at their venue. Yagmur is very happy that Akgün is out of trouble. She has no intention of taking seriously her father's implicit warnings to stay away from Akgün. While living under the same roof with Selim, Akgün knows that he cannot approach Yagmur, but he has a hard time controlling himself. When Akgün realizes that he cannot resist his love, he will have to make a serious decision. Selim captures the suspect of the murderer, Cemal, by hiding the details of the operation he carried out with Akgün. Gaps in Selim's story make him question his credibility, and an investigator is appointed to investigate this incident within the scope of his ongoing investigation. Canan is sure that Selim is really in trouble this time and takes action to stop it.

Yagmur is very surprised by Akgün's marriage talk. Akgün calm Yagmur down. He does not talk about getting married right away, but wants to explain their relationship to Yagmur's family by saying this is their intention. Although Yagmur is afraid of her parents' reaction, she does not want to discourage Akgün. Selim does not want to endanger Canan and for the first time he decides to back off and drop the case. However, Canan is very angry about being used and asks Selim not to back down. Meanwhile, the assigned to Selim investigator arrives. This investigator has prejudices against Selim, and thinks that Canan also had a hand in the incident. While Selim and Canan try to deal with their troubles, they come face to face with Akgün and Yagmur's marriage intention.

Akgün and Yagmur are trying to get used to the new situation after their separation, but they both are suffering. Akgün pursues the story behind the photograph he received and first convinces Selim to meet with his father. But Selçuk Taskin's reaction to the photograph would be very harsh. Akgün's suspicion increases. When Kaan learns that Yagmur and Akgün have broken up, he does not miss this opportunity and tries to get closer to Yagmur. Learning about Kaan's move, Akgün confronts Kaan and asks for an account. When a fight breaks out between Kaan and Akgün; Fatih, Serap, Canan and Selim all get involve making this an even bigger issue. Using the fight as an opportunity, Fatih takes Akgün to the court. Selim and Canan take action together to save Akgün from arrest. Canan becomes Akgün's lawyer. Meanwhile, Selim, who learns that Selçuk Taskin is looking for Halil Sadi, will learn a surprising truth when he goes to Selçuk to ask for an account for this.

Akgün is taken to prison. Selim is aware that Akgün's life is in danger while in prison. Halil Sadi's men will not be going to stop chasing down Akgün. When Yagmur wakes up, he cannot remember the moment of the accident. Kaan's situation is more serious. For Gökhan, the danger is over for now. While Akgün and Selim pursue the incident, Canan learns that the incident was sabotage and gets angry at Selim for hiding it. When the news of Selim's dismissal comes, Akgün will have more work to do. Akgün goes after the saboteur with the help of Soner and Eray. When he finds out who she is, Gökhan realizes that Yagmur is about to remember the incident and approaches her.
