Summary Messapo, the ancient King of Etruria, has retired to the sea to spend his old age peacefully on a magical sailboat, accompanied by his loyal sailor Caronzo. Despite numerous adventures, the centuries have taken little toll on him, as his aging process is slow due to his fatherhood under the undeniable lord of the seas, Poseidon. Over time, however, too many tragedies have befallen the sea's inhabitants due to human pollution. The mermaids, with the support of the god Hermes, have gained legs to enter human society and seek revenge. Messapo plays a double game, and a criminal mermaid will challenge Poseidon to become a goddess.
