Six friends are called together under the guise of an emergency, only to find themselves at the center of an elaborate scheme concocted by a mysterious mastermind who threatens to kill them if they do not obey his instructions.

This Musical-Comedy from Director Rene Cardona, features American actress Janice Logan as the dutiful daughter who is about to wed a much older man and widower as part of an arranged marriage orchestrated by her Father. Plans quickly change, however, once she meets a handsome singer and rising radio star, (played by actor Jose Pulido), who soon sweeps her off her feet-much to the dismay of her dear old Dad. Catchy musical numbers and a charismatic cast add to the charm of this war-time movie release.

Business executive Nick Porter starts an affair with landscape architect Holly while jogging on his way to see his half-brother Benjamin 'Ben' Goldman, a reclusive author who inherited an estate from his father, also an author. Recommended by Nick, Holly comes to renovate the garden for Ben, whose aloof attitude bugs her, but actually she's his first love. Nick learns this and that Ben has terminal cancer but refuses treatment, feeling his life has no meaning, so Nick pushes Holly to pretend to be in love with Ben, who learns the truth in the worst possible way at the worst possible time.

Federico, a senior Spanish TV executive, a man of talent and innate skills for business and diplomacy, begins to suspect that his wife Elena, an excellent actress who retired prematurely after marriage, deceives him with another man. The symptoms are that Elena sighs, looks a lot at the sky and is aware of the exact time a comet passes that appears only every hundred years. In other words, she is waiting for her "most beautiful night".
