Summary After more than 75 years, Vicente Montejano tells us in first person his 14 years experience Russian Gulag after the end of the Spanish Civil War. Vicente is the last survivor of a group of 12 young Republican pilots who were surprised by the end of the war while making war aviation course in Kirovabav, in the former USSR. We know the story of Vicente Montejano, from his arrival to Russia, happening through the end of the Civil War and its transfer to the concentration camps of Siberia during the Second World War until its repatriation to Spain in the middle of the 50s in full Francoist repression. Through his story, we will know another piece of our recent history and the ravages of a war that marked the destiny of a country for 40 years.
