Living alone Jamal is engaged in drawing, but nobody appreciates his works, and it's a reason of his depression. He is betrothed to the self-satisfied Lala. Once his drunk friend Adalat comes with a girl Zara from bar. Adalat asks the friend to shelter the girl for a night. When Zara woke up in the morning, she thought that Jamal brought her home. And two persons from the different worlds fell in love. The denouement will be unexpected for an audience.

Many years after she has left her home town in disgrace, Claire Zachanassian, now an unimaginably wealthy millionairess, returns. Frano, a film director, is preparing his debut feature, which will focus on women affected by the collapse of the textile industry in the region. The topic, as well as the main character, is inspired by his aunt who used to work in the industry.
