Kissa the Unknown Truth

An almost mystical relationship between an American Pilot and a Japanese Ama Diver during the Korean War.

A Vermont family with seven children is presented with an offer from a wealthy relative of an estate and an allowance in return for one child, which he wishes to adopt to brighten his lonely life. After much speculation, they decide on the oldest girl, whose musical interests cannot be furthered by their limited means. She no sooner leaves than the mother suffers remorse, and the father, equally unable to surrender his child, brings her back to the farm.

At the end of the 20th century, the son of a distinguished family, Sosiko Cholokashvili, became interested in cinematography, a field unknown to the public. Despite his inexperience, financial difficulties, and disappointment, one of the first enthusiasts of Georgian cinema recorded many shots depicting the appearance and existence of old Tbilisi on tape.

The story of the lives of three girls. One called Fardous who breaks off her engagement, Mahasin who takes care of her sick mother, and Mary, their Coptic friend, who loves Ramadan, despite the difference of religion.
