Summary Kathakali is the traditional dance form of Kerala. In this film, Kathakali is compared with the society. There are many people who have been ejected from the society due to various reasons. Some of these people live on the shores of the Bharathapuzha River. There are people in search of wealth, old people, and physically challenged people and people orphaned by birth. Kathakali depicts the story of a young man who tries to join and create an address within the society. But he fails to do so and returns back to the river Bharatapuzha, whom he considers as his mother, so as to discard all the fabricated deceitful illustrations of the society. The film ends strongly emphasizing the old saying "Kathakali is not meant for the poor & the underprivileged". The background music for the entire movie is designed with instruments used only for Kathakali. This movie is written and directed by a young man who suffers from the perilous disease, Ankylosing spondylytis and he is 60% physically challenged.
