Enzo (Enzo Mazzarella) is an art dealer, homosexual, and Fabio (Fabio Mattei) a boxer from the suburbs, heterosexual. Enzo is in love with Fabio, but Fabio doesnt feel the same for Enzo. Then, there is another couple, the one of two policemen: Osho (Marcello Mazzarella), the policeman with more experience, and Carletto (Peppino Mazzotta), the younger one. Enzo and Fabio live together in a big house in the centre of Rome, which overlooks a small square, animated by peculiar characters: the customers and the staff of a typical roman restaurant, artists and managers of art galleries, shady characters involved in dubious business. Fabio loves the comfort of living in the city centre, but Enzo, he simply loves Fabio. Carletto and Osho are also a strange couple: theyre not real policemen. Osho is a former policeman, Carletto, instead, failed his competitive exam to become a policeman. Osho, feigns to be a policeman and makes small swindles, which allow them to make both ends meet. But today is a winter day, grey and rainy. The ideal scenario for the two futures of these couples to end.

Seventeen-year-old Artyom is invisible in the family and a rebel in the technical school. He has a best friend, Kostya, and they do all the provocations and antics together. When the management of the technical school draws up an unofficial list of dangerous teenagers - "explosives", Kostya, by pure chance, falls into the first place, which makes him popular among other students. Kostya revels in interest in himself - and betrays his friend, convincing his classmates that he, Kostya, is the main and only inspirer of all their tricks. Then Artyom decides to prove who the "number one bomber" really is here. But on his way, a girl, Kira, unexpectedly appears, who is able to influence his dangerous plan.

Georgi Simov is a thief and an alcoholic. The police are looking for him. Simov squanders the stolen money in the pubs, while his wife and child lead a wretched life. The mother sends the little girl to ask her father for some money. Drunk, Simov chases the child away. The girl is injured in a car accident. The mother gets a divorce. The police find Simov, but he manages to escape. Simov is about to rob an unsuspecting passerby. He hears the sirens of the fire brigade and discovers that his home is on fire. In the blaze is his child. He rushes into the flames and saves his daughter. At this moment, the police seize him. After three years in a prison, Simov is set free. He comes across his daughter in a church. The two go to the sick mother. Simov repents his past. The whole family is happy.
