Summary Wartime Prague... The last scenes of a cabaret operetta are being filmed at Barrandov film studio when word spreads that the main star, Karla Hlinová, has been arrested by the Gestapo. Fear, dismay and apprehension reign, but producer Stanislav Dragant knows what to do. He uses his connections and Karla is released the next day - filming can continue.
