A couple having been married for 19 years and blessed with one daughter but the woman is unable to conceive again and the man can't continue to pretend to be content in having only one child. So he marries a second wife to give him a son.

The Santori Bloodline chronicles the life of Santori Doriano, an accomplished surgeon and wealthy Lord living luxuriously at his Windsor estate. Lauded in his career and gaining the utmost respect and success in his field he still feels a voracious hunger for a life he doesn't know, wanting more. He is obsessed with filling the void inside. With unlimited resources and his mad mind he produces a revolutionary pill that will send him into a parallel universe where though his physical form stays the same his ventures claim a new course. In each of these lives two things remain: his actions are possessed by arrogance causing fatal death, and Johanna a witness to all his doing brings him back to reality. He continues to take pill after pill in an attempt to defy fate but fails each time. These actions foster an evil inside of him that seeps into the spirit of Johanna transforming her to not only be arrogant like him but also to take form as a goddess-like mirror to his vanity. Every times he takes a pill to enter a parallel world he loses life force and his mental state worsens...that life force then flows to Johanna, giving her strength in the physical realm. While he is unable to decipher reality she grows more cunning, able to blind him to the fact that she is becoming manifest in flesh. As Santori falls deeper into madness, Johanna, now fully embodied in her form, takes residence in and leads the life he gave up in desperation to defy his lost fate. In the end, the question still remains: Though truth lies within his veins, as blood may pour, can his fate be changed?

An adaptation of actor Sterling Hayden's autobiography, WANDERER, with three different actors portraying Hayden in his various aspects, with special focus on Hayden's brief flirtation with the communist party, his testimony before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Un-American Activities, and his subsequent lifelong shame at having named others in his testimony. The film depends on Hayden's actual words from his autobiography and is both documentary and meditation on the psychology of the actor.
