Created by Michael Mixer Mason, Caillou and Dora: The Teenage Years is a darkly comedic take on two popular characters from children's media with a dramatic and satirical edge.

The adventures of the plucky Richard Panceliss, his intrepid intern, Smitty, and the true-hearted Temperance Friday as they solve mysteries and right wrongs.

FIRST EPISODE: Some like the heat. August night, a boat lands on a beach in Palermo. On the sand, the dead body of a woman: her face is disfigured and, in her hands, she has a ponytail. Terio Mangiaracina and the fishermen are the only witnesses and, perhaps, perpetrators of the crime. Mid-August is near and, as claimed by one of the most popular television broadcasts, you can choose any guilty and talk about it again in September. SECOND EPISODE: Neighborhood investigations Best fan of the TV show is Fana, the prosperous sister of Terio, a failed policewoman who does not miss a national thriller, who suggests to anticipate the official investigations and seek the truth independently. Thus was born the Mangiaracina Investigazioni, an abusive agency according to the casual city style. As the headquarters, the ancient kitchen, reign of the mother Assunta, is chosen. THIRD EPISODE: Love and surprises The victim was the doorwoman of an ancient building and also a well-known witch. Terio and Fana, pretending to be aspiring doormen, move to work there. But to the complicated crime another is added, while Terio is lost in a love that, according to his sister, takes away him all lucidity. Fortunately, the policeman cousin Nofrio, emigrated back to his homeland, helps him. FOURTH EPISODE: Family gift Between evil eyes, betrayals and amorous vertigo, everything gets complicated. Terio receives a nasty surprise, while the clues and the ramshackle sensations get stuck in his mind, also thanks to his mother Assunta, until the improvised investigator arrives at the truth. It will not be as sweet as he hoped but, for his sister Fana, it will be the beginning of a new career.

During the early colonial days, Hong Kong's first ethnic Chinese Baroness, Lady JUDY FLETCHER (Adia Chan), by mishap, lands in the slums of Yau Ma Tei, as a result of her foreign husband's downfall and disappearance. While there, a prostitute is murdered, and the incident has many similarities to the attacks ascribed to the serial killer in Britain, Jack the Ripper. JUDY is accused of murder by security guard DIK TAK-YING (Tsui Wing), ending up in jail. Fortunately, her former butler KWAN YAT-FU (Ben Wong) sets aside grudges against her and helps clear her name. Meanwhile, JUDY re-encounters her estranged younger sister PAU MUI-TAI (Alice Chan) and adopts an orphan named TING HIU-YIU (Kaman Kong), living a simple life along with her neighbors such as NGAI SO-KAR (Jeannie Chan) and YAU CHI (Dickson Yu). The killer resurfaces. To protect everyone, JUDY demonstrates her Sherlock Holmes-like abilities to probe into the matter, only to realize it's not that simple. Both her disappeared husband and YAT-FU are suspicious. The killer announces a killing spree as provocation, aiming at MUI-TAI and HIU-YIU. Facing its darkest hour, the whole city is plunged into a heightened vigilance.
