Blestem

It tells the story of a photo team that is afflicted by a 200-year-old curse during a Gothic shoot. In the form of the "Huckup Aufhockers", almost the entire team is occupied by the sinister curse. The demon's identifying image is a morbid smile. The demon is passed on through an old rusty knife and its use as a murder weapon. Anyone who picks up the cursed knife, even if only in defense, becomes involuntarily possessed and leads to the bizarre murder that unleashed the horrific evil. But the curse has an origin. In 1824 a murder took place in the same house. The "religieous possessed" widow Agate demands of her son Thomas that he should marry a middle-class young woman from a rich family. Even Thomas's father suffered under the domineering Agathe and died of fear of life because of her greed for money and exaggerated religious relationship with God. Thomas is secretly expecting a beloved child with the "travelling dancer" Serafina, so that he can finally start his own family. Agate is so enraged that she uses black magic disguised as a healing elixir consecrated by the Church. She tries to destroy there true love as she simultaneously reflects on the loss of Thomas and her own greed-obsessed life. When Agathe pronounces the "blessing of liberation" with his cross held up, Serafina's brain disabled brother Valentin tries to prevent this by attacking Agathe with a knife in a panic-stricken frenzy. During the fight, however, Martha, the intended fiancee, accidentally dies. Valentin, who only wanted to defend Serafina and Thomas, unintentionally becomes a tragic murderer. Agate's pain is so deep that she calls on the devil to help her. The curse takes its course. The story is partly based on true stories.
