Summary Alice, a sad homeless woman due to the loss of her mother, begs alms to passersby. However, she is constantly being ignored. Every night, before sleeping near the trash, she thinks of her mother and how happy they were together. One day, in her routine, a car runs over Alice. Despite the accident, all people were more concerned about the damage of the car than with her. Nobody helped her, and consequently dies on the asphalt.
