He was trained in Uruguay, won that Countries Triple Crown and won the hearts of the Uruguayan people. At great sadness knowing that his best chance of attaining world recognition, Invasor was sold to Sheikh Bin Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai, owner of the Shadwell Stables. Within a few years, under the training of Kiaran McLaughlin, Invasor captured the hearts and souls of nations. This is a horse that wasn't the fastest, wasn't the strongest but from all accounts was the smartest. His trainers stated "he just knew how to win."
