Interrupted Girls

Over years 35-year-old truck driver Don Pedro and his paraplegic business partner have devised an elaborate, nifty but also illegal system.

What happens when consequence, revenge, intrigue and perception surrounds two people from two different worlds? Someone is hiding a secret, someone has nothing to lose, and someone is in for one hell of a week.

To prevent discovery of the cruel methods he is using in building a Bolivian railway, Gillespie ( Anders Randolf ), a ruthless construction crew foreman, attempts to kill Arthur Wyatt ( Walter Pidgeon ), an Englishman sent to inspect the job. Gillespie's niece, Toni ( Dolores Del Rio ), a half-breed, discovers the plot and saves Wyatt after he has been shot by her uncle's accomplice.

Ewa, the heroine of the film, tired from her everyday life in Paris, goes back to Poland in order to find her ex-husband Jacob. She finds out that Jacob, who withdrew from the world's life, lives together with his friend and spiritual father Nicholas in a reclusion. After Ewa's arrival, her new romance with Jacob begins, as well as the magical triangle among the three persons.
