The film Akkammana Bhagya is about an ill-fated village woman and her struggle towards the welfare of her family. The story is set in an Indian village from the preindependence era and deals with woman's empowerment.

A young would-be writer named Tadashi Makita (Ryotaro Akazawa) working as an apprentice,is asked by Kyusaku Komiya(Naha takashi) to find "Kouya Komiya". He visited the literature editor who works for publisher Kazuma Taniguchi (Shogo Taniguchi) literature editor as Kyusaku said. It is discovered that the name of "Kouya" has won up to the primary selection stage of the rookie award. Kouya wrote a piece called 'Sensei's Testament'.
