Summary Immobilia Crime Story , is a psycho drama set in Cairo City Centre . It examines loneliness and the ways in which social media have taken control over our lives and relationships . The narrative focuses on Kamal Helmy , a famous writer in his late forties , who lives alone in Cairo's famous Immobilia Building . Since the death of his wife and his children leaving home , he has suffered from loneliness and a form of schizophrenia, which he has kept a closely guarded secret . One day he invites to his flat , a girl called Samah , whom he has befriended on Facebook , in an attempt to alleviate his isolation . But after she arrives , an accident occurs and he discovers , together with his neighbour and best friend Habib , that he has been used by her .
