I Will Continue Your Steps

Vinoth (Ajaz) is a wealthy businessman and owner of a company which had launched many innovative inventions. The young Vinoth falls in love at first sight with Mridula (Shilpa) who is from Australia and he appoints her as his new personal secretary. Vinoth tries to impress her in many ways but Mridula is repulsed by his eccentric behaviour and rejects his love proposal. A desperate Vinoth decides to make his lover Mridula jealous so he tries to seduce his new secretary Anitha (Anaka) and Anitha unexpectedly falls in love with him. Thereafter, Mridula is abducted by a psychopath. Vinoth and Anitha try to save her, they face many troubles but they successfully overcame all the obstacles. Vinoth and Anitha finally find Mridula in a deserted factory, her abductor was waiting for Vinoth and tried to kill him. In the process, Anitha is shot dead by the psychopath and Vinoth, in turn, kills him. The psychopath was in fact paid by other company owners to kill Vinoth because they were jealous of his growth and success. Many years later, Vinoth and Mridula are a happily married couple and have two kids.

A film on an extremely current and relevant topic of today's times - Child Safety. This is an issue generally pushed under a carpet. The rise of child abuse and rape cases in India is a reason for concern on all levels. With this film, I intend to get this issue out in the open and provide an impetus for rigorous discussion. Our trust in educational institutions and the services provided by the institutions has today become shaky, as worldwide more cases come to light where care givers/teachers/transport providers take disadvantage of the vulnerability of children in charge of them. The movie takes us on a journey of the victim's mother, her despair, and her finding her self.
