HWY: An American Pastoral

Two lonely middle-aged sisters living in Athens will come into conflict with the return of a cousin from Paris, whom they were once in love with.

Summer time. Two teenagers, a boy and a girl, have their first date in a park. Hesitant and shy at first, they soon discover each other, get closer as they wander, and end up falling in love. But as the sun goes down, it is time to separate... And a dark night begins.

Forever Young is the story of two friends in their last week of high school. Chris Peterson is the all-American kid who, with his best friend Sean Parker, a rebel, is enjoying his last days of innocence in high school. It's Saturday night and their friend Kevin is throwing the "PARTY OF THE YEAR." But, unfortunately, on this night everyone at their school would experience first hand the pain and emotion of loosing a friend to drinking and driving.

A Lebanese filmmaker (Karim) travels from New York to Beirut to conduct research for a film that he wants to make about blind children in the mountains of Lebanon. He arrives to Beirut with a condition that had been affecting his eyes and causes him to go straight into surgery, temporarily blinding him with patches covering his eyes. He uses the healing time to reflect, write and spend time with his family. The filmmaker then begins to visit the blind institute where he will conduct his research and attempts to cast someone to play himself in parallel, which doesn't go as planned. Little does the institute know that Karim has no treatment to pitch but continues to visit the classrooms and attend in order to find his characters.

A curse on the lives of a noble but unholy family including a womanizer and a yakuza in Shingu, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, a remote community, casts its shadow over several generations.
