Bittersweet Tears is a romantic comedy about a vengeful and bittersweet love between Gaomao (Jenny Lor) and Vong (Beng Hang). Vong is the only son of Chong Yee (Billy Yang). Having lost everything Gaomao swears vengeance on Chong Yee, the man whom she claims to be responsible for her loss. Will Gaomao be able to overcome her own heart and take her revenge?

Salah, an honest taxi driver, works the night shift roaming the streets and drives different personalities who talk to him about various issues that reflect the reality of the Egyptian community.

Reb Kalman, the matchmaker comes home on Shabbat to find out that Reb Pinchas has been there. He learns that RebPinchas wants him to find a husband from a good family for his daughter Carolina. Carolina, however, is in love with Max, her French teacher. Pinchas finds them making out and is furious and even more adamant that she marry soon. Reb Kalman finds Kuni Lemel as a possible match. It turns out that Max and Kuni are cousins and are identical, except that Kuni is blind in one eye, limps, and stutters. Max plans to act like Kuni so that Reb Pinchas will have his daughter marry Max by mistake. The real Kuni Lemel shows up and has everyone confused.

Gemini Ganesh is a bachelor, who had to leave his college before finishing his final year at University. He meets Thangavelu in a park and they become friends. Gemini Ganesh goes to rent a house, where the house owner is a mother living with her two young and unmarried daughters. The younger girl(Saroja Devi) is prettier and studies in college. She and Gemini fall in love, but this is not known to the others. Meanwhile the elder sister (Vijayakumari) also falls in love with Gemini . The younger sister gives up her love for elder sister's sake, this sacrifice is unknown to the elder sister. This film presented Ganesh as a victimized, tragic hero in a melodramatic story supporting the observance of social convention.

London-based Crystal Chaurasia convinces the International Film Commission to authorize a documentary on Bollywood's yesteryear mega-actor, Karan Kumar. She travels with her photographer Jeremy to Mumbai and not only gets to meet the legendary actor but also his publicity-shy son Rahul and his alcoholic, reclusive former-actress wife Mandira. It is here Crystal will be drawn into continuing her documentary in London where she will witness the making of Karan's next movie 'Dhak Dhak' in which he decides to not only produce and direct but also hilariously play the role of a college student.
