Homing Pigeons

Berkeley is the story of Ben Sweet, an eighteen year old boy who comes to UC Berkeley in 1968 to study accounting and avoid the draft. There begins an odyssey through sex, drugs, rock and roll, and political activism which turns his world upside down and leaves him on a path of exploration and self-discovery, far from the life of his father, Sy Sweet. The film depicts a group of young people protesting the Vietnam War.

The chronicles of the end of the Trujillo era between 1959 and 1961.

Karl is the workaholic adopted son while Stephan is the lazy one. They both go to Munich to study medicine and Karl is at the top of the class while Stephan is barely passing. When Stephan's actions causes the death of Anna, Karl is the one who takes the rap and three years in prison. When he gets out, he finds Stephan is dead and a sick child needs an operation and he does a brilliant surgery. This gets him noticed and his mother tells them that he is Stephan Brenner, not Karl Brenner. She tells Karl that he must cure sickness in the world. But, being that he is Stephan, he can no longer marry Lottie, as she is now his sister.

On a set filled with tension, a nervous director tries to shoot a horror movie. Meanwhile, six strangers suddenly appear who tell their story, explaining that they are the characters of the script left by a dead screenwriter.

A loving mother searching for her child. A pregnant woman escaping from her responsibility. Two women who couldn't be more different will be pushed to their limits of humanity. Connected by one breath which decides everything.
