Heer

Radha (Sardar Akhtar) is an indomitable woman, toiling away to feed her three sons and to pay off Sukhilala (Kanhaiyalal), the village's rapacious moneylender. When she learns that she is pregnant again, her husband, Shamu (Arun Kumar Ahuja), runs far away, leaving her to fend for herself against poverty and the lecherous advances of Sukhilala. Later, the two eldest children die, leaving her with only two sons: the straight-laced Ramu (Surendra) and the wild Birju (Yakub). Ramu becomes a bandit which eventually forces Radha to take drastic actions.

A solitary young poet finds solace in wandering the city streets at dusk, gazing at the houses and the lives of passersby. One evening, he saves a young woman from suicide. Drawn together by this chance encounter, the two get to know each other and share their life stories with heartfelt sincerity. For the past year, she has been waiting for her lover, who has promised to marry her. Despite this, the poet falls in love with her. However, fate has different plans.

Nora and Solveig are hiking through snow-covered, rough, but beautiful scenery on a tour of several days that will take the two young women to the top of a mountain. Solveig, three months pregnant, seems incapable of doing anything the way Nora wants her to. The life of the couple, although not happy, was intense. However, the presence of her a long-time friend Ana Maria, just arrived from Paris, a middle-class university student, is staying at his house. The two go to the site of Eleonora and she remembers her life with Marcelo and his death by drowning.
