Summary Grandma Eloise Carter's battles are both natural and spiritual as she attempts to redirect her granddaughter Angela's steps back from the crumbling edge of a past beyond her control. It seems that Angela is already lost in life's journey as she struggles to see a bright future through the fog of her chaotic past.
