Summary This is a story about very shady times in Serbia which focuses on one family through out breakdown of former Yugoslavia in a decade of war, crime wave and moral declining. It is a story about ordinary people in Yugoslavia in 90's who can't face the fact that old values went to history. In every episode we see main characters Jaksic family struggling to survive through sanctions, inflation, electricity cutouts and while they are in problems, their neighbors Neska and Stole Petrovic( excellent performances by Dusanka Stojanovic and Branko Vidakovic) are becoming very successful and wealthy in a society where thieves are welcomed and highly praised.
