In the late forties, a group of WWII veterans returned to school on the GI Bill and founded a house on the Cornell campus in Ithaca, NY. The founders named this house 'Watermargin' and set forth on a mission to promote understanding among people of different races, creeds and religions.

"Back Home -- A Tale of a Warrior's Battle" is a documentary that gives you a first-hand look into the difficulties of the transition that young combat veterans deal with once they return home from war. These brave men give you an insight into their family life, social life, and also their experiences in combat that left its mark on them for life. For many the war does not start until they come back home.

Garwin profiles renowned physicist and inventor Richard Garwin, who helped shape history as designer of the first hydrogen bomb and later as a science adviser on nuclear arms control and other issues. While exploring Garwin's life and work, the film offers a rare look into the world of science and policy, notably the role of scientists like Garwin who regularly advise our leaders on solutions to the most critical issues of our time, from nuclear proliferation and disarmament, to climate change and energy.
