Ginji's first full day on the job at Cade Express is so exciting (for so many reasons). But, when she's introduced to the massive distribution center and all its workings, Ginji soon finds herself embroiled in a competition with Vanilla, who is very used to being top dog (top skunk, really) around here. Even on her first day, Ginji is showing so much promise that Vanilla is starting to worry. And maybe, just maybe, Ginji is drawing the attention of unseen forces to her. This promises to be the start of a very long and crazy ride.

Ginji and Varona get an opportunity of a lifetime to see their favorite Cade Pop band, The Vegan Coyotes. Having lost a dance off to Vanilla for free tickets to a long-sold out concert the girls devise a plan to sneak inside. Through a series of adventures they discover the truth behind the band: the real Vegan Coyotes are nothing but holograms played by a tiny Firefly named Santino, whom they accidentally injure. While Varona is trying to rehabilitate the tiny creature, Ginji must figure out a way to keep the show going.

His Name Was Cleo, He Was a Showgirl
Ginji and Varona encounter a fish named Cleo whose dream is to lead a glamorous life of a FISHVIZHN "fishette". Determined to help Cleo realize his dream the girls sneak him into the monitor. But Cleo is not ready for the routine realities of work. He tries to get out of the monitor causing a cascade of events. Meanwhile Nigista tells Ginji to be on a lookout for a special sign. Varona becomes a talent agent.

The Savagelings
When it turns out that Vanilla is behind in the monthly courier ratings he takes a delivery to The Tundara, a dangerous icy desert populated by the "savagelings" in hopes of getting ahead in the ratings. But at the last minute gets scared and grabs a different package. Ginji sets out to help Vanilla and encounters all kinds of adventures on the way.

The Clone
Ginji gets a delivery to a mysterious billionaire Mollusk with a connection to Don Crimini. UB7 must escape an old nemesis in order to save Ginji from a dangerous situation. Varona faces her own clone and Nigista gets a glimpse of the future.

A Private Scandal

There is a sensational jewel robbery at the home of one of the leaders of the Boston Back Bay aristocracy, and a Count d'Alencourt is arrested on the basis of a long police record involving jewel thefts and later convicted. The story follows the activities of his accomplices who escape, led by Daniel Treve. Daniel and a gang-member hide out in a small Connecticut town, where Danny marries a local girl, Mary Gate, when her guardians try to railroad her in a reform school when she refuses to marry their son. She is the innocent means by which Danny gets the stolen jewels to New York. Danny tells her he only went through with the marriage to save her, and gives her money to live on until she can obtain a position. He them leaves New York determined to quit the rackets and make himself worthy of her. She then provides the way in which he can.
