Sakthi separated from her husband Siva is living with her daughter Aditi in a flat. A voice every time resonates. Aditi follows the direction of the voice.She awakens in the night and plays alone with the doll.Suspecting Aditi's behaviour Sakthi takes her to a psychiatrist and on his advice takes due precautions in raising Aditi.Siva lets Aditi, Anne's child,which Anne delivers after death of her husband and Anne too immediately dies of eclampsia after delivering Aditi.To come closer to Aditi, Anne turns into a ghost and befriends Aditi and plays with her on occasions.Aventika is with Siva, so that Sakthi will get accustomed to Aditi as if its her own.This is the act that Siva executes keeping Sakthi ignorant of the truth.Once the truth gets unfolded Sakthi determines to raise both the kids Aditi and Aventika after a confrontation. Now all get reunited and start living in one flat.The ghost on discovering that Sakthi is all love and affection her own daughter Aventika, gets worked up, gets disturbed and begins threatening and harassing Aventika.Siva on coming to know that the ghost is causing wreck by frightening Aventika, Siva gets himself detached and takes Aventika with him.Now Siva determines to get rid of Aditi.On Sakthi realising her folly by finally seeing and accepting that a ghost really exists. Siva decides to get rid of Aditi,eventually get rid of the ghost,real cause of disharmony by suggesting Aditi in an orphanage.At one juncture, owing to a car accident Aditi dies.This shock of separation from Aditi traumatises Siva;he regrets very much for deciding to distance Aditi from the rest of the family.Sakthi too sulks.
