Doula is a about birth support provided to women about to give birth by a woman known as Doula.

Until now, Yunnan has been reputed as a paradise of clouds and trees. However, in 2010, the Yulu Township (Yulu means rain and dew in Chinese) as an ethnic group in Yunnan province, suffered the biggest drought in a century. Facing the disaster, the villagers were forced to move on. However, they inherited an optimistic spirit from their ancestors to struggle against difficult times, dancing cheerfully on this dry land for more than a thousand years. The left-foot dance continues, so does life and hope.

Betsy Dewitt Acquista fell in love with Sal, an Italian American man in New York and they started a family. On all accounts he was American - he had lived in the US for decades, was a legal permanent resident, was married to an American Citizen, and had three US citizen children. Yet when Sal was arrested, their life spiraled out of control when they found out that he would be deported back to Italy.

During the Depression of 2009-10, we follow a California family: Jay, his Japanese wife Aki and four young sons, as they go from making $150K to a series of lower paying positions to finally unemployment and eviction. This economic decline and emotional turmoil erodes Jay's confidence as he fights to support his family and keep his marriage intact. As we observe their struggle, we witness not just plight of a single family but the fall of the American middle class.

In Eastern Europe, and particularly Ukraine, the culture does not value children with disabilities, nor has a place for them in society.
