A popular, inspirational biography of a World War II Soviet heroine, showing her life in flashback as she is captured and tortured fighting the German invaders.

The 11-year-old protagonist of the film is an ordinary Ukrainian boy who lived his best life in his native Mariupol. Yuriy had everything that makes everyone happy: a loving family, loyal friends and a home. He was just starting to live, learning to love and facing difficulties in his life. However, on February 24, 2022, everything changed radically - the enemy occupiers crossed the threshold of his home and killed his father, sister and grandfather. The boy was left with only his mother Ira and his bedridden grandmother.

WW 2: A German special unit tries to thwart British ambitions to block a narrow water gap in the Danube River in order to cut off the German supply line. Then the unit is tasked to land behind the Russian lines to guard a strategic bridge.

Some events take place in a small hamlet of the mountains of Asturias, following the arrival of Abel, a young doctor, shortly before the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War.

An American submarine commanded by Captain Faversham (Jim Bannon) is under orders to proceed to Korea via the Sea of Japan. After they pick up intelligence officer Clayton Shepherd (Ross Hunter), they learn that Japan has been defeated, and that their prize passenger carries information which will prevent the bombing of the ship "Missouri" during the surrender signing. While attempting to reach their destination, the sub (out of torpedoes) is attacked by a rogue-led suicide carrier; in desperation, the captain orders the sub to ram the carrier.
