In Richard III "An Arab VIP", the camera follows a touring Arab production of Shakespeare's play as it moves from rehearsals in the oil-rich Arabian Gulf State of Kuwait to the charged atmosphere of a U.S. premiere at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and on to the United Arab Emirates - for a command performance at the behest of local princesses.

Music and politics often go hand in hand and as pro-democracy revolutions spread throughout the Arab world, one sound in particular is echoing the hopes, dreams, frustrations of the people. Arab Hip-Hop, once relegated to the sidelines, has emerged as the soundtrack of the resistance. To capture this transformative time in one of the most dynamic regions of the world, Torath Production created a documentary that features the leading Arab hip-hop musicians around the world. It looks at the role Arab Hip-Hop plays in this game-changing moment for the Middle East. At the same time, such universal themes as the role of women in music and cultural clashes between conservative and secular artists will also be explored as each musician shares his/her story.

It's been four years since Mexico's president Felipe Calderon declared war on Mexico's most powerful drug cartels. During this time, several high-ranking members from various criminal organizations have been killed or detained by the Mexican State. Nevertheless, the overall strategy of meeting force with force has only yielded limited results in stemming the escalation of violence at the many fronts where this war is being fought. Money laundering - which funds the operational structure of these criminal groups - remains largely intact. The arsenal of illegal weapons, which continues to flow into Mexico from the United States, Central and South America, has produced over 35,000 deaths. 200 courageous Muslim and Christian young women and men unite successfully in Jos, central Nigeria. Refusing to be enemies, they are together during days and evenings of the 2010 International Conference on Youth and Interfaith Communication. Crossing lines of religion, economics, tribe, and gender they transcend the status quo and discover empathy for each other. Listening-to-learn, they dignify themselves and the 'other' realizing that 'an enemy is one whose story we have not heard.' Face-to-face in small circles they begin with ice-breakers and continue in depth, discovering one another's equal humanity - fear, grief, needs, hopes, and concrete plans for a shared future.
