Summary The State of Ceará, Brazil. Four degrees south of the Equator. Typical tropical conditions: every day, heavy thermals form in the hot air and strong winds roar in from the ocean. Its not the ideal place for the average free-flight pilot. But its something different for three determined top-notch paragliders from Hungary who want to set a new world distance-record, using the science of the thermal-flying birds. And to make it more difficult they decide to use standard equipment like no one else before them in the history of free flight! But they almost pay too high a price for the adventure: one of them crashes and thanks only to his luck and a local shepherd who rescues him he survives the accident. In spite of this, his two mates keep trying day after day with many adventurous moments. The land of Ceará also has another kind of challenge: it is an extensive bush wilderness; landing can be tricky and is often dangerous. And even if they manage to land safely, getting out of the uninhabited bush is an adventure in itself.
