When Maija and Lina grew up, they were often told that Finland was the goofiest place on earth, a real Nordic backwater. But today is it perhaps that Finland has gone about its neighbors when it comes to fashion and design? Meet designer Minna Parikka who, among other things, made shoes for Lady Gaga, and the artist Bita Razavi who one day discovered that all Finns filled the kitchen cabinets with the same Finnish design gadgets.

What about the Finns and their obsession with sports where things go fast and you get hurt? And why is it so important to beat Sweden? Today, Lina and Maija are at Karjala Tournament where Finland will try to take revenge against Sweden in ice-hockey. There they meet the cult-declared sports commentator Antero Mertarerant. We also meet two artists who draw inspiration from the world of sports, Riika Hyvönen who make art of bruises and Camilla Vuorenmaa who make oil paintings by wrestlers. In addition, Oulu's Own Son, Finland's reigning champion in air-guitar.

When Lina and Maija grew up, they were often told that Finnish was the world's ugliest language but as much as some Swedes seem to dislike Finnish, as much they seem to love Finnish curses. As a foreign Finn it is not always easy to keep up with the language development in Finland and since Maija thinks that Lina sounds like an old aunt from Jyväskylä, she has arranged a slang word seminar for Lina. Teacher is the Finnish hip hop legend Asa Masa and comedian Fatih Ahmed. In addition, it will be stand-up with the world's funniest man, Ismo Leikola, and a meeting with the creator of the cursing hedgehog, Milla Palonii.
