It would seem that Sveta and Mikhail were not even destined to meet. He is a talented famous actor, who got used to live under flashes of cameras. She is a girl from a poor neighborhood, a modest elementary school teacher. His mother is a well-known director, hers is a retired woman with disabilities. And yet fate brings the young people together. One day Mikhail saves a plain-looking girl from bullies. He immediately realizes that he cannot live without her. She somehow makes him understand that his whole life is just meaningless tinsel. He does it all to gain the trust of the new acquaintance and announces to everyone that they will be together. Galina, Mikhail's mother, is against their relationship. She planned a different fate for her son - next to a beautiful actress Olga. Galina decides to separate the lovers at all costs; as a result of these effords, Sveta gets in hospital and Mikhail tries to commit suicide. Galina saves him, but Mikhail loses his voice and it threatens his successful career. Galina understands what a terrible mistake she made, she pleads guilty and goes to jail. Sveta decides to break up with Mikhail - for his own good. Mikhail sees no reason to live on - This is the story about opposite types of women's love - selfish or sacrificial. Galina ruins the life of her own child, fearing to lose him. Sveta, on the contrary, sacrifices his feelings for the happiness of the man she loves more than everything. Will the heroes be able to cope with the circumstances and regain happiness?.
