Summary This 6-part docudrama series depicts various social issues and challenges faced by local low-income groups and needy families. Weiguang (James Seah) and Karen (Paige Chua) are social assistance officers from the Social Service Office (SSO) who meet their clients to understand their needs and offer them assistance. All stories are adapted from true cases. In the pilot episode, 19-year-old stepfather Ah Long (Shane Pow) has to assume the role of the sole breadwinner of his household, providing for his younger brother, unmarried pregnant girlfriend and her baby after his mother's imprisonment.
